Breastwork: maternal bodies in postmodernity aims to undo some of the complex meanings and histories of breastfeeding as they revolve around women’s bodies, the politics of sexuality, and the gendered use of public and private space in postmodern cityscapes.
Women, religion and the body investigates the question of how these factors were interrelated in early modern Europe, with particular reference to the discourses of witchcraft and religious revival movements.
Feminist writing examines particular forms of writing as significantly feminist in their politics and poetics.
